The Ice Hockey World Championship is coming to Herning in May 2025.
In May 2025, the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2025 will be held in Sweden and Denmark. Tickets will be released on October 3, 2024.
The groups for Stockholm and Herning are based on the world rankings with consideration for organizational wishes from the Organizing Committee for the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2025.
In Denmark/Herning, the following teams will play: Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Norway, Switzerland, and the USA.
In Sweden/Stockholm, the following teams will play: Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
One group stage and two quarterfinals will be played in Herning, Denmark, while the other group stage, two quarterfinals, semifinals, bronze medal game, and gold medal game will take place in Stockholm, Sweden.
